In the shadow of the first presidential debate, Donald Trump and his campaign saw record-breaking donation success. In a single 24-hour phone call dialing frenzy to bring in donations, the Trump Campaign raised over $18,000,000.
The fundraising event was coordinated by heavy hitting Trump supporters, including New York Jets owner Woody Johnson, Hollywood producer Steve Mnuchin and Ivanka Trump.
“We had a massive fundraising day. With this kind of energy and generous support behind us, we are going to have President Donald J. Trump in the White House,” said Mnuchin.
Approximately one-third of Monday’s money came from small donations online. The rest was raised as major Trump supporters, including Roy Bailey, Gentry Beach, Michael Cohen, Ivanka Trump, and nearly 100 other major names, including Trump himself, joined forces at Trump tower to make phone calls and solicit donations.
