Trump Campaign Gives Statement About Hillary Honoring Terrorist

Recently, the Clinton Global Initiative released the names of individuals set to speak at the Clinton Foundation event.  Among them is a Palestinian teacher, Hanan al-Hroub.  The decision to allow her to speak is drawing intense criticism from many, including the Republican National Committee and Donald Trump.

The reason so many people are alarmed at the Clinton’s choice for speaker is due to her affiliation with a known terrorist, her husband.  In 1980, Omar al-Hroub was convicted on charges of being an accomplice in a terrorist bombing attack that left six Israelis dead. He served a 10-year prison sentence according to the Wall Street Journal.

The Trump Campaign released the following statement on the event.

“Today’s report that the Clinton Foundation is feting the wife of a Palestinian man convicted of helping bomb innocent Israeli citizens is deeply disturbing, especially in the wake of this weekend’s attacks. The decision to honor the wife of a terrorist by Hillary Clinton’s foundation shows a complete lack of judgment and a callousness that should disqualify her from holding the presidency.”
