Trump’s Stance On Immigration: Just The Facts

Donald Trump has been credited for starting the discussion on immigration, border security and national defense during this election season.  Trump has blazed new trails when it comes to rebuilding America’s economy and keeping us safe.  However, many people  don’t know what Trump’s stance on immigration actually is.  Recently, the Republican nominee released a 10-point plan outlining his goals and aspirations for American immigration policies.  


-Build the wall

-End “catch and release.

-Create a deportation task force and focus on criminals in the country illegally

-Defund sanctuary cities

-Cancel President Obama’s executive actions

-Extreme vetting.  Block immigration from certain nations.

-Force other countries to take back those whom the U.S. wants to deport

-Get biometric visa tracking system fully in place

-Strengthen E-Verify, block jobs for the undocumented

-Limit legal immigration, lower it to “historic norms,” and set new caps
