On Thursday, Donald Trump gave a speech at a fracking conference in Pittsburgh. The energy industry has been a hot topic for both candidates in the election, with a stark contrast between their viewpoints. While Hillary Clinton looks to kill the energy industry, Donald Trump promises to grow it.
“I am going to lift the restrictions on American energy and allow this wealth to pour into our communities — including right here in Pennsylvania,” Trump said. “The shale energy revolution will unleash massive wealth for American workers and families.”
Trump discussed energy resources amidst his economic plan. His plan also detailed reducing corporate income tax rates, negotiating better trade deals abroad and lifting numerous federal regulations.
